State Intellectual Property Office: 393,000 invention patents were authorized in my country in the first half of the year

　　China News Service, July 12. On July 12, the State Council Information Office held a press conference on the statistics of intellectual property related work in the first half of 2022. Hu Wenhui, deputy director of the State Intellectual Property Office, said that in the first half of the year, my country's invention patents were authorized 393,000 , 1.473 million utility model patents and 383,000 design patents.

Accepted 33,000 PCT international patent applications.

Chinese applicants submitted 353 international design applications through the Hague Agreement on the International Registration of Industrial Designs.

31,000 patent reexamination cases were closed, and 5,000 cases were closed for invalidation.

　　As of the end of June 2022, the effective number of invention patents in my country was 3.906 million, a year-on-year increase of 17.5%.

　　In terms of trademarks, in the first half of the year, the number of registered trademarks in my country was 3.674 million.

Received 2,699 applications for international registration of Madrid trademarks submitted by domestic applicants.

Completed the review of 81,000 trademark opposition cases, and completed the trial of 217,000 trademark review and adjudication cases.

　　As of the end of June 2022, there were 40.545 million valid registered trademarks in my country, a year-on-year increase of 20.9%.

　　In terms of geographical indications, in the first half of the year, 3 geographical indication products were approved.

365 registrations of geographical indications as collective marks and certification marks were approved.

2,239 market entities using special signs for geographical indications were approved.

　　As of the end of June 2022, a total of 2,493 geographical indication products have been approved.

6,927 registrations of geographical indications as collective marks and certification marks were approved.

19,350 market entities using special signs for geographical indications were approved.

　　In terms of layout-design of integrated circuits, in the first half of the year, 7,661 applications for the registration of layout-designs of integrated circuits in my country were filed, and 5,233 were issued certificates.

　　As of the end of June 2022, a total of 74,000 applications for the registration of layout designs of integrated circuits in my country have been issued, and 57,000 have been issued certificates.
