JR Shikoku has announced that it will stop selling regular coupon tickets at the end of September.

As the business environment continues to be harsh due to the effects of the new coronavirus, JR Shikoku wants to increase its income by canceling the sale of discount coupons.

According to the announcement, the sale will be canceled at the end of September for all the sections of the regular ticket that can be purchased for 11 times with the fare for 10 times, which will be completed in Shikoku.

However, even after October, coupon tickets that you already have can be used until the expiration date, and coupon tickets for the physically handicapped and attending school will continue to be sold.

In addition, we will continue to sell 6-ticket coupons that can be used within the jurisdiction of JR Shikoku, and we are considering dealing with JR West for coupon tickets for the section connecting Honshu and Shikoku across the Seto Bridge.

With regard to coupon tickets, in addition to the decline in sales, the severe business environment continues due to the influence of the new Corona, so railway companies nationwide are also moving to cancel sales one after another.
