The Ministry of Finance of Russia denied Bloomberg's material about the fall in the country's GDP by 12% in 2022

“Information about a possible fall in Russia’s GDP by the end of 2022 to 12%, published by Bloomberg, is not true,” the ministry said in a Telegram message.

At the end of April, the Central Bank of Russia announced that the decline in Russia's GDP in 2022 would be 8-10%.

In 2023, the Central Bank predicts a contraction of the Russian economy within 0-3%.
