Up to now, the General Navigation Engineering Technology Center of the Bureau has completed the lifting of the upper left and lower right herringbone doors of the ship lock, and won the key node of the suspension maintenance project.

  The ship lock of the Three Gorges South Line and the No. 3 ship lock of Gezhouba were suspended for maintenance on February 21, and the construction period was 30 days.

Gezhouba No. 3 Ship Lock is located between Gezhouba Sanjiang Sand Sluice Gate and the left bank earth-rock dam. It is a single-stage ship lock. There are four herringbone doors in the upstream and downstream.

During this maintenance, the upper left, upper right and lower right three herringbone doors need to be lifted and lowered.

  The upper left herringbone gate of Gezhouba No. 3 ship lock was successfully lifted on February 26, and was completed on March 2 after inspection and replacement of the bottom water stop.

The lower right herringbone door was lifted on the afternoon of March 1, and the herringbone door was successfully lifted by 320 mm, and the door body was stable throughout the process.

The completion of this work has created prerequisites for the follow-up inspection, analysis and repair of the equipment and facilities at the bottom of the herringbone door.

  It is reported that the Three Gorges General Administration of Navigation adopts the 4×500-ton synchronous lifting system for the zigzag door and the synchronous system for mechanical roof protection of the zigzag door for the coordinated lifting.

This technology is the core technology with independent intellectual property rights after years of research and development by the technicians of the Three Gorges General Administration of Navigation Administration. It plays an important role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of herringbone door maintenance and improving the modernization level of herringbone door maintenance.
