Hometax Year-end Settlement Simplification Service, which allows you to inquire the proof materials required for year-end tax settlement income and tax credit, starts today (15th).

Available daily from 6 am to midnight.

Data can be inquired from the 15th, but if there are additional submitted or revised data by the receipt issuing agency, the final confirmed data reflecting this will be provided from the 20th.

The data that can be inquired in the simplified service are the amount of national pension insurance premiums paid, the amount of repayment of the principal and interest of the housing rental, the amount of credit card/debit card/cash receipt used, the amount paid into the retirement pension account, the amount paid for protection-type insurance premiums, the amount of medical expenses paid to medical institutions, Elementary, middle, high school and college education expenses, etc.

Starting this year, you can view the electronic donation receipt in the streamlined document.

Donors can electronically issue donation receipts through Hometax, eliminating the need for donors to submit separate receipts.

Some of the materials provided by the simplified service may not be viewed as they are submitted voluntarily by the submitting organization.

In this case, the employee needs to obtain a receipt from the receipt issuing agency and submit it to the company for data on income and tax credit.

In order to make year-end tax settlement easier this year, a lump-sum service was introduced for the first time in which the National Tax Service provides simplified data for workers, including dependents, directly to the company as long as workers consent.

However, only workers and companies who have applied for the lump sum service can use it.

Workers who have applied for the use of the lump-sum service to the company must confirm and agree to the application at Hometax by the 19th.
