Guangming Daily, Taizhou, Zhejiang, January 8 (Reporter Lu Jian correspondent Lu Yating) At 9:26 am on the 8th, two first-time Fuxing trains departed from Taizhou Station and Shengzhou Xinchang Station at the same time, heading for Hangzhou and Wenling respectively. The first privately-held high-speed railway, the Hangzhou-Taizhou High-speed Railway (Hang-Shao-Taiwan Railway), was officially opened for operation.

The Hangzhou-Taiwan high-speed railway connects Hangzhou, Shaoxing and Taizhou in Zhejiang Province. It starts from Hangzhou East Railway Station in the north. The Hangzhou-Shaoxing section utilizes the existing Hangyong section of the Hangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed railway. Yuecheng, Shangyu, Shengzhou, Xinchang in Shaoxing City, Tiantai, Linhai, Jiaojiang, Luqiao, Wenling and other counties in Taizhou City have introduced the existing Hangzhou-Shenzhen High-speed Railway Wenling Station.

The Hangzhou-Taiwan high-speed rail line is 266 kilometers long, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a total investment of over 44 billion yuan. It is jointly funded by private capital, China Railway Corporation, Zhejiang Provincial Communications Group and the local government.

In December 2015, it was identified by the National Development and Reform Commission as one of the first eight social capital investment railway demonstration projects in China.

In September 2017, Fosun Group led the formation of a private consortium and signed a railway PPP project investment contract with the Zhejiang Provincial Government, of which the private consortium held 51% of the shares.

The duration of social capital participation in the cooperation is 34 years, of which the construction period is 4 years and the operation period is 30 years.

The Hangzhou-Taiwan high-speed railway is located in the central and eastern part of Zhejiang Province, passing through various landform units such as hills and basins.

Since the start of construction at the end of 2017, all participating units have promoted the project in a scientific and orderly manner, creating a diatomite construction with a depth of 143 meters for the main pier of the Jiaojiang Bridge, the longest tunnel in East China (Dongming) 18.226 kilometers of tunnels), the first single-hole four-line large-section tunnel and many other high-speed rail construction records.

It is worth mentioning that the Hangzhou-Taiwan high-speed railway passes through the "Tang Poetry Road in Eastern Zhejiang", and connects a large number of historical sites such as Lu Xun's hometown, Tianmu Mountain Scenic Area, Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area, and Taizhou City Wall. It is a golden tourist route in Zhejiang Province. .

After the opening of the project, it means that Shengzhou, Xinchang, and Tiantai will enter the "high-speed rail era", and connect Shanghai-Kunming, Shanghe-Hangzhou, Nanjing-Hangzhou, Hangzhou-Huangzhou, Hangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed rail, and connect to the high-speed rail network in the Yangtze River Delta region, making Taizhou to Hangzhou the fastest railway. The travel time of the express railway has been shortened to about 1 hour, expanding the scope of Zhejiang's "one-hour traffic circle".

After the opening of the Hangzhou-Taiwan high-speed railway, it will accelerate the integration of the Wenzhou-Taiwan urban agglomeration into the Yangtze River Economic Belt, close the connection between cities, drive the economic and social development along the line, and actively contribute to the high-quality development of Zhejiang to build a demonstration zone for common prosperity and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.

At the same time, its successful exploration and practice in the field of railway investment and financing will also provide a powerful reference and reference for my country's high-speed railway investment and construction, which is of great significance to my country's economic and social development.

It is reported that in the early stage of the opening and operation of the Hangzhou-Taiwan high-speed railway, the railway department arranged 35 pairs of EMU train lines, including 22.5 pairs of daily lines, 3 pairs of weekend lines, and 9.5 pairs of peak lines. The main directions are: 6.5 pairs in the direction of Shanghai and 1 pair in the direction of Beijing. , 5 pairs in Fuxia-Shenzhen direction, and 4 pairs in Hefei direction.

The fastest running time from Hangzhou to Taizhou is 1 hour and 3 minutes, which is 47 minutes shorter than the fastest running time via the Hangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed rail.
