The Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Railway Bridge is a control project for the new Nantong to Ningbo high-speed railway. It includes three channel bridges in the north, middle and south, and approach bridges across the embankment, sea and shoal areas.

It is 29.2 kilometers in total and adopts a double-track wireless railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The ballasted track design is the longest high- speed railway cross-sea bridge in the world with the highest construction standards.
