A 7.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in the waters of Hualien County, Taiwan on the 3rd. People in Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong and other provinces felt the earthquake.

China Railway Nanchang Bureau, Guangzhou Bureau, Shanghai Bureau Group and other railway departments blocked some railway lines. They conducted safety inspections on railway lines, bridges, tunnels and signaling equipment to prevent secondary accidents. Some passenger trains passing through the above lines were delayed to varying degrees.
