Dubai Duty Free launches discounts of up to 25%

Dubai Duty Free today announced the launch of a special discount offer of up to 25%, on a wide range of products, over a period of three days, on the occasion of its celebration of the 38th anniversary of its launch on December 20, 1983.

The market indicated in a statement that the discount offer will be available in all “departures”, “transit” and “arrivals” lounges at Dubai International Airport, starting from midnight on December 17, until midnight on December 20, and will include Dubai Duty Free home delivery service.

Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free, Colm McLoughlin, said: “The discount offer launched by Dubai Duty Free on the first anniversary of its establishment on December 20, 2013, was very popular, which encouraged us to launch the offer annually, and in this way we thank our customers, who Attend in person or online, for their continued support of Dubai Duty Free over the years.”

The offer of discounts applies to major commodities that include perfumes, cosmetics, wrist watches, candies and leather goods, while some specific products such as gold, electronics and selected fashion brands are excluded from the offer.

The discount offer also includes the release of tickets for the “Millennium Millionaire” and “The Most Amazing Surprises” raffle for the duration of the discounts period (3 days).

To achieve more convenience for travelers, they can now take advantage of the online discount offer by pre-ordering 12 hours before departure, which is provided by the Dubai Duty Free “Click and Collect” service, and the purchased goods are collected from the designated collection points in Dubai Duty Free.

As part of its celebrations of the thirty-eighth anniversary of its founding, Duty Free will hold two “Millennium Millionaire” and “The Most Amazing Surprises” raffles on Founding Day (December 20).
