Using the new “Premium Architecture” platform developed by the British brand, the future Lotus SUV (called “Type 132” internally) has just unveiled a piece of its grille as a teasing.
Using batteries whose capacity will vary between 90 and 120 kWh, this vehicle will benefit from an 800V architecture, like the Porsche Taycan or the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which will allow it to be recharged very quickly.
Lotus claims an 80% recovery of battery capacity in just 20 minutes!
For the rest, the manufacturer has not yet spoken of performance, but we suspect that its electric SUV will be at the top of its segment, and will offer a range of over 400 km.
Its marketing is scheduled for 2023.
Now, a little game. Lotus, SUV, electric: look for the odd one out ...
