China News Service, Beijing, September 18 (Reporter Zhou Yin) The reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport of China on the 18th that the 2021 Mid-Autumn Festival will be from September 19 to 21.

During the holiday period, toll roads for small passenger vehicles with less than 7 seats (including 7 seats) will be charged normally. Public travel is mainly for short- and medium-distance family visits and tourism. The national expressway network traffic is expected to be about 33 million vehicles, which is basically the same as the same period in 2019.

According to the relevant person in charge of transportation, due to the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays, the recent epidemic in Putian, Fujian, and the normal charging of small passenger car tolls on the Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, it is expected that during the Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, public trips will be short and medium-distance visits to relatives and tourist trips. Mainly, the traffic pressure of the road network around the city is expected to be greater during peak hours.

Based on the recent traffic situation, it is estimated that the average daily traffic of the national expressway network during the holiday is about 33 million vehicles, an increase of about 7% from the average daily traffic since August (30.74 million vehicles), and basically the same as the same period in 2019 (32.15 million vehicles).

Affected by factors such as the superimposition of holidays and weekends, the first small peak of scheduled vacations will appear from 9 to 12 o'clock on September 18, and the second small peak of trips will appear from 18 to 20 o'clock; the first day of the holiday (September 19) From 9 to 12, there was the third small peak of travel.

Since then, the traffic on the second day of the holiday (September 20) has dropped, lower than the daily value; the return traffic on the last day (September 21) is expected to increase significantly from 12 o'clock to 19:00; after the holiday, the road Internet traffic quickly fell back to daily levels.

In addition, the highway sections prone to congestion and slow running mainly include: G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway Jiangsu Wuxi Section, G15 Shenhai Expressway Shanghai Section, Guangdong Shenzhen Section, G25 Changshen Expressway Zhejiang Hangzhou Section, G45 Daguang Expressway Beijing Section, etc.

The toll stations that are expected to be prone to congestion and slow traffic on the expressway are mainly: G18 Rongwu Expressway Shandong Yantai Laishan toll station, G30 Lianhuo Expressway Xinjiang Hami Yiwanquan toll station, G36 Ningluo Expressway Jiangsu Nanjing Second Yangtze River Bridge toll station, G50 Shanghai and Chongqing High-speed Shanghai Xujing toll station, G3002 Xi'an Ring Expressway Xi’an Baqiao toll station, etc.
