Ministry of Transport: Continue to promote the construction of charging infrastructure along highways. Monitoring data shows that during this year’s Spring Festival holiday (February 10-17), the average daily traffic of new energy vehicles on highways across the country was 5.9392 million vehicles, accounting for 10.04% of the total daily average traffic.
As of the end of 2023, a total of 21,000 charging piles have been built, and the charging infrastructure network along the highway has been further improved. In order to strengthen operational services, the Ministry of Transport will incorporate the "random inspection" of highway charging facilities into people's livelihood matters.
