The Dow Jones Industrial Average on the New York Stock Market on the 12th rose somewhat in anticipation of an economic recovery, hitting a new high for the third straight business day.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average on the New York Stock Exchange on the 12th reached a record high of 35,499.85 cents, an increase of 14.88 cents from the previous day, for the third consecutive business day.

Immediately after the start of the transaction, buying and selling were mixed, but expectations for continued economic recovery persisted and buy orders exceeded.

Market officials said, "Since many investors are in the summer vacation, the amount of transactions is limited, and the range of price increases is small."
