Very low vaccination rates

It is alongside the ultra-Orthodox that Israeli Arabs have the lowest vaccination rates.

According to the Galileo Society, an Israeli Arab NGO specializing in health, 51% of the members of this community received the double dose of the vaccine compared to 66% for the entire Israeli population.

For people over 50, 83% of Israeli Arabs have been vaccinated.

The general rate for this age group in Israel is 92%.

Only 11% of cases of Covid-19 contamination were recorded last week in Arab localities while this community represents 20% of the total population of the country.
