  According to reports, the new index is jointly compiled by the E-commerce Center of the Qinghai Provincial Department of Commerce and the Ant Group Research Institute. The index draws on the scientific compilation methods of relevant domestic and foreign indexes, and combines the characteristics of new digital life services, from the macro environment to the supply of industry scenarios. The micro-individual consumption behavior is then compiled, where the digital life infrastructure dimension reflects the digital level of infrastructure; the digital dimension of life services reflects the digital level of the supply side; the new service drives the new consumption dimension to reflect the digital level of the demand side, covering food, housing, and transportation consumption , Three scene dimensions of entertainment shopping consumption and public service consumption.

  Judging from the results of the Shuxin Index, during the reporting period (from the end of December 2019 to the end of December 2020, the same below), the total index of new services for digital life in Qinghai Province increased by 19.0%.

Affected by the epidemic, a small number of indicators declined at the end of the reporting period compared to the beginning of the period. On the whole, the new digital life services in Qinghai Province showed a good trend of rapid rise.

Among them, the digital life infrastructure index rose by 28.1%, and the digital life service index rose by 49.6%. However, due to the impact of the epidemic, the consumption of food, housing, and transportation fell in demand, making the new consumption index driven by new services to drop by 25.3%.

  Geng Hongzhou, deputy director of the Qinghai Provincial Department of Commerce, said that in recent years, new types of consumption characterized by new business models and models such as online shopping, mobile payment, and online and offline integration have developed rapidly, giving birth to contactless delivery, online retail, and digital healthcare. The new business formats and new models represented by other companies have become an important channel for residents' consumption, an innovative format for foreign trade development, and a key driving force for economic growth.

Especially during the epidemic period, more people's online consumption habits were activated. New types of consumption such as digital life not only ensured the daily needs of residents, but also facilitated people's life, work and study.
