Continue to carry out special rectification of the measurement of glasses manufacturing and distribution sites, focus on the special rectification of electronic pricing scales, improve the measurement accuracy of fuel dispensers, gas dispensers, and charging piles, and promote the evaluation and replacement of smart meters.
The notice mentions five main tasks:

Local market supervision departments should continue to consolidate the results of the special rectification in 2019 and 2020, and focus on tracking and supervising the implementation of the rectification of problems found in the special rectification in 2020.
Intensify the publicity of metrological laws and regulations, and use the method of "double random, one open" to check whether the glasses manufacturing place is equipped with corresponding measuring instruments as required, and whether the measuring instruments used for compulsory verification work are qualified for metrological verification, etc.
Severely crack down on the use of unqualified measuring instruments in the production of glasses to prevent secondary damage to the eyesight of young people.

On the basis of consolidating the results of special inspections on the measurement of bazaars in 2020, local market supervision departments should give full play to the role of market supervision departments in comprehensive law enforcement, and focus on checking whether electronic price calculation scales used for trade settlement in shopping malls, supermarkets and bazaars have been used for trade settlement. In the case of verification, unqualified verification or use exceeding the verification period, severely crack down on illegal behaviors such as lack of weight and measurement cheating.
——Improve the measurement accuracy of fuel dispensers, gas dispensers, and charging piles.
Focusing on the people's livelihood concerns of automobile consumption, the metering supervision and inspection of fuel dispensers and gas dispensers are implemented to ensure the accuracy of fuel and gas metering.
Local market supervision departments should strengthen the research on the measurement and supervision of electric vehicle charging piles, find out the basic situation of the electric vehicle charging piles in use in the region, explore the establishment of a new model of big data supervision, and improve the service capacity of measurement verification.
Where conditions permit, pilot tests can be carried out to carry out compulsory verification of electric vehicle charging piles.
——Promote the status evaluation and replacement of smart meters.
