According to a statement issued yesterday, the tender witnessed the sale of 379 thousand and 912 carats, valued at $ 87.47 million (321.29 million dirhams), by 115 winning dealers, with the participation of more than 250 companies and 500 individuals from around the world, in addition to delegations from India, Hong Kong, and Russia. According to the statement, the "Star James" company at the Dubai Multi Commodities Center managed and organized this record bid, which allowed dealers to participate over a period of eight days, to submit bids, to buy rough diamonds coming from South Africa and Angola.
