China's top 100 industrial counties: Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong occupy 56 seats

　　China News Service, Beijing, November 13th (Reporter Liu Yuying) China Academy of Information and Communications Technology released the "China County Industrial Competitiveness Map" on the 13th, revealing the 2020 "China Top 100 Industrial Counties" and "China Top 100 Innovation Counties". "China's Top 100 Industrial Areas" list.

　　The top 100 industrial counties in 2020 include 78 county-level cities, 18 counties and 4 flags.

The list shows that in 2020, China's top 100 industrial counties are distributed in 17 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), and Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong occupy 56 seats in total.

　　The top 10 industrial top 100 counties (cities) are Jiangyin City, Wuxi, Jiangsu, Kunshan City, Suzhou, Jiangsu, Zhangjiagang City, Suzhou, Jiangsu, Jinjiang City, Quanzhou, Fujian, Changshu City, Jiangsu, Cixi City, Ningbo, Zhejiang, Yulin Shenmu City, Shaanxi, Wuxi, Jiangsu Yixing City, Taicang City, Suzhou, Jiangsu, Changsha County, Changsha City, Hunan.

　　According to Hu Jianbo, chief engineer of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in 2019, the total GDP of the top 100 counties (cities) reached 9.4 trillion yuan, with 3.5% of the county-level administrative divisions, 6.5% of the population, and more than 12% of employees. Contributed to 10.5% of the country’s GDP and 14.8% of the industrial added value. It is the stabilizer of the industrial economy in my country’s counties.

　　In terms of geographical distribution, there are 67 in the east, 23 in the middle, 9 in the west and 1 in the northeast.

Hu Jianbo said that the number of the top 100 counties in central provinces such as Henan, Hunan, Hubei, and Anhui has increased, reflecting that the central region is undertaking industrial transfer from the southeast coast.

But in general, the east still occupies the main body and is the most important gathering place for the top 100 counties.

　　Statistics show that R&D expenditures in the top 100 industrial counties accounted for more than 10% of the national total, and the top 100 counties had 2.46 million patent applications.

　　Hu Jianbo said that in terms of quality, the level and intensity of R&D investment in the top 100 counties have continued to increase, the transformation of innovation achievements has been accelerating, and innovation carriers and subjects have become more abundant.
