“Today Russia is provided with its own capacities for the production of these products ... We are ready to meet our Ukrainian partners in this matter and hope that this step will have a positive effect on bilateral economic relations,” the head of the department explained.
At the same time, he noted that the corresponding decision will not affect Russians and business, the interests of Russian suppliers and buyers will be fully respected.
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with the government, supported the proposal of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to allow the supply of products of a number of Ukrainian enterprises to the country, in respect of which retaliatory restrictive measures were introduced.
