More than ten scientific and technological innovation companies from China and Australia carried out projects to conduct concentrated roadshows, looking for cooperation opportunities.

  The event was jointly organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the Chongqing Liangjiang New District Management Committee, the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, the Queensland Chinese Scientists and Engineers Association of Australia, and the International Education Department of the Queensland Government Trade and Investment Department.

After the preliminary selection, a total of 5 Australian companies and 6 Chinese companies were shortlisted for the roadshow.

Roadshow projects involve biomedicine, smart assembly manufacturing, new energy, industrial Internet of things, driverless and other industries.

Many professional investors from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Shengshi Investment, Liangjiang Fund and other institutions participated.

  Lin Minghao, Consul General of the Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu, said at the road show that Australia and Chongqing have experienced nearly 80 years of bilateral relations and are constantly developing vigorously.

The two sides have close exchanges in the government, humanities, academic and business fields.

Australia has outstanding performance in innovation, and Chongqing’s increasing demand for innovative industries is creating more opportunities for cooperation between the two parties.

It is expected that this event will bring more new opportunities for cooperation between the two parties.
