“Unemployment in Russia is still at a fairly high level, now it exceeds 6%,” the head of state said.

He recalled that such an indicator was in March 2012.

According to him, the situation remains tense and it is necessary to provide targeted support to people who find themselves in a difficult situation and have not yet found a job.

As the Russian leader emphasized, by the end of 2021, employment must be restored to the level of 2019.

Earlier, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that unemployment is reaching pre-crisis trends.
