Chinanews.com Beijing, August 27 (Reporter Ma Xiuxiu) Zhaolian Recruitment officially released the "2020 Employment Trends Report (1)-New Employer Economy in the Post-epidemic Era" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") on the 27th. The report pointed out that under the new crown pneumonia epidemic, in an uncertain environment, more than 60% of employees have used self-driven efforts to break through job limitations and contribute more personal value to the company.

The report stated that, affected by the epidemic, offline businesses of enterprises were generally blocked. Most companies are seeking to break through through organizational thinning, restructuring and business adjustments. According to the survey results released by Zhaopin.com in August, 55% of respondents indicated that their companies are making business adjustments.

According to the report, while reforming, companies are redefining job responsibilities and work processes and encouraging cross-departmental collaboration in order to maintain high efficiency and agility, which also puts forward new requirements for employees. Nearly 70% of the interviewees said that their company put forward new business requirements for employees during the epidemic, such as stricter assessment indicators and improved skills.

The report stated that in the face of the "survival challenge", in an uncertain environment, individuals have also begun to seek inwardly to cultivate concentration. Some professionals choose to use their subjective initiative and “optimize and upgrade” themselves through endogenous forces.

The data shows that in order to better adapt to the uncertainty of the future, 61.6% of the respondents maintain their learning habits and become compound talents, and another 60.2% of the respondents are self-driven and take the initiative to strengthen professional learning.

The survey found that taking the initiative to participate in skills training has become the main means for workplace people to cope with anxiety at this stage. During the epidemic, 44.88% of white-collar workers stated that they had participated in learning and training. Older seniors in the workplace had a clearer understanding of the importance of learning and training, and workplace people were driving themselves through opportunities for value realization.

It is understood that Zhaolian Recruitment conducted a survey on the impact of the epidemic on the survival conditions of enterprises and employees and changes in employment relations, and released this report in conjunction with the big data of the Zhaolian Recruitment platform. The report aims to provide insights into the different plights and needs of enterprises and employees in the post-epidemic era, and provide clearer ideas for the new employer economy between enterprises and employees.
