The Ministry of Finance announced the launch of the "System for Collection of Revenues and Public Funds", based on the provisions of the decree of a federal law regarding the collection of revenues and public funds, and the ministerial decision to establish the organizational unit concerned with the collection of revenues and public funds.

The undersecretary, Younis Haji El-Khoury, said that the launch of the system for collecting public revenues and funds represents a new step on the road to automating government financial work, in accordance with the best global standards adopted, indicating that this system sets a clear framework for guaranteeing the rights of government agencies and supports management governance Federal debt.

Al-Khoury added in a statement yesterday that the Ministry of Finance is always seeking to adopt advanced digital solutions that will raise business efficiency and reduce potential human errors, with the aim of improving government revenue collection mechanisms, in line with the UAE’s vision 2021, while applying the highest standards Governance in preparing these digital solutions, and activating them at the level of federal authorities and bodies.

The system for collecting public revenues and funds is considered an advanced automated system, as it provides smart and innovative mechanisms for counting and collecting state debts stipulated in Article No. (3) of the provisions of Decree of Federal Law No. (15) of 2018, which clarified details of public revenues and funds in accordance with the provisions of the Decree It includes the following: «Taxes, fees and royalties imposed under a federal law in matters within the jurisdiction of the state in legislation and implementation, fees and wages that the state collects for the services it provides, administrative fines and compensation awarded in accordance with the provisions of federal laws, the returns of state investments and the amounts owed Selling, renting or possessing or benefiting from public funds, and loans owed to the state or the entity that granted it to workers, individuals, private or public entities.
