According to the decision of the regulator, exemption from specific standards applies to the pipeline section in the Federal Republic of Germany, including the territorial sea.
It is noted that it is valid for 20 years, coming into force retrospectively from the date of adoption of amendments to the Energy Law on December 12, 2019.
Earlier it was reported that the European Court of Justice rejected the claims of Nord Stream AG and Nord Stream 2 AG against the extension of EU norms to gas pipelines from third countries.
