Emirates Airlines has started to intensify the precautionary procedures followed at the airport, and on board the aircraft, to ensure the health and safety of its employees and customers.

The company stated, in a statement yesterday, that all members of air services crews, boarding gate supervisors, and ground services employees, who are in direct contact with passengers, wear personal protective equipment, which includes a protective garment over a uniform, a protective screen, in addition to masks Face and gloves. The company stressed that wearing gloves and face masks, at Dubai International Airport, is mandatory for all dealers and employees, pointing out that thermal scanners monitor the temperature of all people at the airport.

Emirates Airlines installed social distance signs on the airport floor and in the waiting areas to ensure that passengers are committed to maintaining a sufficient distance between people during the completion of travel and boarding procedures. Protective barriers were also installed at the "counters" to complete the travel procedures, as an additional step to ensure the safety of passengers and workers during the communication.

Emirates Airlines noted that it left vacant seats on its planes among passengers, in compliance with the rules of social separation, and applies a modified service program on its flights, to comply with health and safety rules.

The company emphasized continuing to provide food and beverages to passengers in closed boxes, to avoid contact between crew members and passengers during service.

She pointed out that there are no prints on the aircraft, and passengers are not permitted to carry hand luggage on the aircraft, except for the laptop, personal handbag, and children's toiletry bag.

For each passenger, the weight of his hand luggage available for his class will be added to the permitted weight of his baggage that is placed in the cargo hold.
