The Department of Trade Control and Consumer Protection of the Dubai Economic Department imposed financial penalties on 7 commercial establishments that raised the price of respirators, including 3 pharmacies in Warsan, Al Qusais and Al Jaddaf, two supermarkets in Wadi Al Safa and Fifth Safa, a commercial company in Dubai South, and a marine services company.
The Dubai Economic Department stated via Twitter that the violating commercial establishments raised the prices of the masks to exaggerated levels, and the Marine Services Company that practiced an activity contrary to the licensed activity that is not allowed to sell the masks was violated.
