“In preparing the draft set of additional measures aimed at improving the sustainability of the Russian economy, to work out measures for state support of the catering and services sector, as well as owners of commercial real estate,” the Cabinet’s website said in a statement.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that small and medium-sized businesses need to be granted a six-month deferment on all taxes except VAT.
Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the lower house of parliament, said that the State Duma will take priority legislative decisions necessary to implement the measures proposed by Putin in handling the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.
