The «Dubai Economic Department» decided to postpone the installments of beneficiaries in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Fund to support medium and small projects for a period of three months, stressing that this step comes in light of recent global events and the effects of the crisis of the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19) in the economy.
The fund supports the Emirati youth to obtain appropriate financing for their projects, as it aims to support small and medium enterprises and finance innovative pilot projects. The «Dubai Economic» indicated that the impact of the crisis accompanying “Covid-19” on small and medium companies, requires taking the necessary steps to confront, calling on all parties in society to provide the necessary support to overcome the crisis.
The fund has a team of experts and consultants who specialize in supporting small and medium enterprises, to prepare and guide Emirati business leaders towards the best ways to obtain financing.
It also works to support and finance citizens' projects, provide various financing solutions, and monitor the commitment of owners of projects that receive support from the fund according to the approved system by studying the reports submitted by them and field visits, as well as reviewing and providing the necessary consultations regarding the feasibility study, and the work plan prepared by applicant.
