The chief minister of Maharashtra state in western India said today that the state has decided to close all stores and offices except those that provide basic services in the financial capital of India Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur until March 31 in an attempt to curb the spread of the Corona virus.
Udhav Thackeray added that the state with the largest number of confirmed cases in India excluded banks and shops selling commodities from these restrictions.
