Emirates Airlines has announced the suspension of flights temporarily to 18 new destinations in order to comply with the regulatory directives or operational requirements issued by governments and authorities around the world as part of addressing the spread of the emerging corona virus (Covid-19).

The carrier stated on its website that flight schedules may change within a short period of time in order to comply with regulatory directives, noting that customers must ensure that their contact information is updated by visiting the Manage booking page. Customers can also check the website for the latest flight updates, re-booking options, refunds, and destinations where flights have been temporarily suspended as follows:

Abidjan (via Accra): from 20 March to 20 May.

Accra: from March 20 to May 20.

Casablanca: March 16 to March 31.

Colombo: from March 19 to March 25.

Hanoi: From March 18th until further notice.

Ho Chi Minh: from March 18 until further notice.

Budapest: from March 25 to May 20.

Geneva: from March 27 to May 20.

Rio de Janeiro: from March 25 to May 20.

Santiago (via Rio de Janeiro): from March 25 to May 20.

Mexico City (via Barcelona): from March 20 to May 20

Mauritius: from March 20 to April 2.

Lusaka: From March 20 to May 20.

Luanda: From March 24 to May 19.

Conakry: From March 22 to May 19.

Dakar (via Conakry): from March 22 to May 19.

Harare (via Lusaka): from March 20 to May 20.

Buenos Aires (via Rio de Janeiro): from March 25 to May 20.
