The Emirates Group and the "Airbus Academy", affiliated to the European "Airbus" company, signed a memorandum of understanding to provide the "Airbus" leadership program for the citizens of the country working in the Emirates Group.

The group stated, in a statement yesterday, that Amira Al Falasi, Vice President of Recruitment and Development of National Human Resources in the Emirates Group, signed the memorandum with Serge Golovier, President of Sales and Marketing at the Airbus Academy.

The new agreement will give Emirates Group employees from the UAE with a promising potential the opportunity to benefit from the Airbus leadership program, which aims to provide Emirati leaders of the present and future with the knowledge and skills necessary for their personal and career development in the constantly changing work environment.

The topics of the program revolve around general skills, such as self-awareness and emotional intelligence, as well as interactive and practical learning through simulating commercial flying operations. Al Falasi said, "The development of our national human resources is an investment in our employees and in the future of the Emirates Group, and we look to our partner (Airbus) to design a special program that enables our future leaders in the group, and enhances the leadership skills they need to manage their self-development, learning and teamwork."

For his part, Golovier said: “Through this agreement, we look forward to providing the best of our expertise, resources and knowledge in the aviation sector in order to develop the skills of Emirates Group employees and provide them with the highest international educational standards in the sector.”
