In the first two months of 2020, Chengdu's imports and exports through processing trade amounted to 62.76 billion yuan, an increase of 20.4%, accounting for 72.4% of Chengdu's total foreign trade value during the same period, an increase of 4.4 percentage points from the same period last year; 11.28 billion yuan, a decrease of 21.9%, accounting for 13%. Chengdu's imports and exports to ASEAN were 19.94 billion yuan, an increase of 27.7%, accounting for 23%; imports and exports to the United States were 18.53 billion yuan, a decrease of 5%, accounting for 21.4%; and imports and exports to the European Union, 16.74 billion, increased 14.8%, accounting for 19.3%. Chengdu's imports and exports to countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” were 28.91 billion yuan, an increase of 41.2%, of which Vietnam, Israel, and Russia increased by 85.7%, 28.7 times, and 67.5% respectively. The import and export of foreign-invested enterprises was 68.41 billion yuan, an increase of 20.1%, accounting for 78.9%, an increase of 4.6 percentage points over the same period of last year; the import and export of private enterprises was 13.27 billion yuan, a decrease of 2%, accounting for 15.3%; the import and export of state-owned enterprises, 5.02 billion yuan, decreased 15.8%, accounting for 5.8%.
