It is reported by Reuters.

According to the company’s statement, in April oil supplies will be “300 thousand barrels per day higher than the maximum sustainable capacity of the company at 12 million barrels per day”.

It is clarified that Saudi Aramco has agreed with its customers to provide them with such volumes starting April 1, 2020.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, citing a source, wrote that the reduction in oil prices undertaken by Saudi Aramco was aimed at weakening Russia's position in the global market for this energy carrier.

At the same time, a source in OPEC, familiar with the plans of the Saudi authorities, told TASS that the kingdom did not declare Russia a price war in the oil market and still considers Moscow to be its most important partner.
