The Government has assured Thursday that the indications on the evolution of the coronavirus and the measures to be taken in Spain are coordinated by the Ministry of Health in "total coordination between the different State administrations".

From Moncloa, they have explained that the entire Executive "follows the specific indications" of the department headed by Salvador Illa and that "they are based on constant monitoring of the situation, information transparency and decision-making according to scientific evidence." In addition, they recalled that international organizations are offering since the appearance of COVID-19 measures of a general nature.

The reaction of the Executive comes after the Ministry of Labor published on Wednesday a guide for companies and workers with recommendations to act on possible cases of coronavirus in the workplace.

This document was criticized by CEOE and CEPYME, who consider it "a serious mistake" to disseminate a guide for action in the workplace in relation to Covid-19, since they believe that it generates "alertness and confusion" by not corresponding to the Health risk assessment.

In a statement, the employers stressed that the preparation of this guide "has not had the participation of companies and unions", despite claiming that they had previously requested it, so they believe that this contributes "to a greater uncertainty. "

The Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Isabel Celaá, has also assured that her department will follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Health when considering the closure of classrooms in the national territory as a result of the coronavirus.

This has been expressed in an interview on Canal Sur Radio, collected by Europa Press, in which he stressed that his Ministry will follow these recommendations based on "scientific evidence."
