Friday's friendly economy, Kwon Ae-ri reporter. Kwon, how did Samsung Consumer and LG analyze and analyze the quality of ultra high-definition TVs and UHD TVs on the market that Samsung and LG were fighting over?

<Reporter>

Yes. The next generation of UHD TV is very expensive. And when I buy a home appliance, including a TV, I actually choose to pay for this much money, but it's a bit confusing.

So I'm going to talk about this announcement today (31st) because there's something I can refer to to focus on what capabilities you should focus on when buying a UHD TV.

UHD TVs are the best-selling FHD TVs to date, and ultra-high definition TVs with resolutions four times higher than conventional products, commonly called FULL HD.

In comparison, Samsung's and LG's two high and mid-priced models, and Philips and Anam's low-priced ones were all 55 inches, ranging in price from 3.2 million won to 1.75 million won.

We surveyed the preferences of 500 domestic consumers who have bought and used UHD TVs over the past two years and estimated six products.

In conclusion, there was no product that did not meet the standards of UHD TV. Both the durability received the passing point. It's the same whether it's a million won or three million won.

However, the performance varied. The high priced 3 million won was not that big. Expensive products are similar everywhere. However, the mid-priced and low-priced models had a considerable difference in quality depending on the product.

So which TV was announced as the best product with the best price?

<Reporter>

But what I really want to say is that there are so many different areas of TV performance that, depending on my tastes and my viewing habits, the judgment of which TV is better for me is really different.

Actually, I recently changed TV, so I finally compared the two products and picked the one with the lower picture quality but better sound.

Among the two products that I bought were cheaper, but even if the price was out of the way, the satisfaction of sound was more important in the minute image difference.

With that in mind, I'm not going to tell you which model of a brand is the best here.

If you want to learn more by brand, product and performance, 'Happy Dream', which I've mentioned a few times here, just hit 'Happy Dream' in the portal search box.

As soon as you enter here, you can see it right at the door. If you are thinking about buying a TV, watching it will help. 'Happy Dream' in the search box.

The biggest difference between low-priced and low-priced one million won was that they could not watch terrestrial UHD broadcasting. But why do you call it UHD? If you use something like a UHD set-top box, you can enjoy UHD quality. Same thing with Blu-ray.

Excluding the difference, some low-priced one million won had better image quality than the middle price of two million won.

What features does this quality of video mean?

<Reporter>

Basically, the contrast, the accuracy of the colors, how rich the colors are, and how uniformly bright the overall picture is, are important.

And you should look at the angle of view, how well the image looks evenly from any angle. It's also important to see how less bleeding occurs when the screen moves fast.

High-quality TVs with very good picture quality don't feel right at first, but as time goes by, eye fatigue can be seen here. And especially for sport enthusiasts, this performance is important.

If you are watching a TV, these days, don't forget to check it out. In all of these ways, there were some products that were more affordable.

The story is, "I use a UHD set-top box, so I can watch SBS UHD broadcasts."

But there is another thing to consider. The quality of the sound, the time it takes to power on, and how long the TV responds when you type it, vary widely in today's complex and expensive TVs.

These features were mostly priced. The mid price was even better than the low price. If you buy it once, it's expensive to use for a few years.

Of the two products in Korea, two million won versus two million won, the cheaper 2.2 million won was better or similar in almost every way than the 2.32 million won.

You can check the details of the test results by brand, product model, price, and performance in the 'Happy Dream' mentioned.
