The Paris Stock Exchange lost some ground (-0.33%) Thursday for the second consecutive session, in the wake of Asian markets that coldly received comments from the Chinese Central Bank, while the quarterly results continued to enliven the rating.

The CAC 40 index fell by 18.39 points to end at 5,557.67 points, in a moderate trade volume of 3.3 billion euros. The day before, the index of the Parisian market had already closed down slightly (-0.28%) after having aligned eight consecutive sessions of increase.
