The police have launched an investigation into the leakage of LG U+ customers' personal information.



The Cyber ​​Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced yesterday (10th) that it was assigned a case of leaking personal information of LG U+ customers.



LG U+ announced on its official website yesterday that the personal information of about 180,000 customers was leaked.



The leaked information varied from person to person, but included names, birth dates, and phone numbers.



However, it is said that financial information related to payment of fees was not leaked.



LG U+ recognized that customer information was leaked on the 2nd, and requested an investigation to the National Police Agency's Cyber ​​Investigation Bureau and the Korea Internet & Security Agency through the cyber crime reporting system the next day.
