A male student who was handed over to trial on charges of sexually assaulting and killing a female student of her age on the Inha University campus has been expelled.

Inha University announced today (13th) that it has recently held a student reward and punishment committee and decided to expel first-year student A, who was arrested and charged with murder, including rape, under the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes.

If you are expelled for disciplinary reasons, you will not be re-admitted.

Previously, Mr. A is suspected of causing her death by falling while trying to rape a woman in her 20s from a five-story college building on the Inha University campus at dawn in July.
