He then appealed for participation in the main voting, saying that he had prepared it the day before the planting day, but there was no mention of whereabouts.

The aftershock of poor early voting management continued.

A controversy arose when it was revealed that the mail that voters cast in advance outside of Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province and the early ballot boxes of Udo residents in Jeju were stored in the office of the secretary general of the local election commission without CCTV.

According to the Public Official Election Act, both the postal ballot box and the early ballot box containing early voting mail must be kept in a place where CCTV is installed.

The National Election Commission explained that there is no need for CCTV as it is a temporary storage place before putting it in the ballot box as stipulated by the law and during movement.

Another case in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, where the ballot papers for which a specific candidate was cast were disclosed.

The main voting period is from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and voting for confirmed and quarantined people will be held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm after the general voting ends.

Those in quarantine are allowed to go out from 5:50pm.

Violation of this rule could result in punishment for violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act, the quarantine authorities explained.

Unlike advance voting, as polling stations are designated, they must check their polling stations, and confirmed patients must bring a text message or notice to confirm whether they are confirmed or not, along with identification.
