This was announced by the governor of the district, Vladislav Kuznetsov, after the closure of all voting stations in the region.

“Everything was going smoothly and actively, 55 sites were working.

The turnout was decent, which was facilitated by a broad information campaign... At 12 polling stations, the turnout was 100% - these are national remote villages,” RIA Novosti quotes Kuznetsov.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, reported that the overall voter turnout for the Russian presidential elections, taking into account remote electronic voting (DEG), was 61.37%.

These data are current as of 09:45 Moscow time on March 17.
