The court decided to cancel the decision on the correct answer to the 20th question of Life Science II of the 2022 University Scholastic Ability Test, which was controversial.
The 6th administrative division of the Seoul Administrative Court (Chief Judge Lee Ju-young) decided today (15th) at 2 pm, the correct answer to question 20 was number 5 in a lawsuit filed by 92 candidates for Life Science II against the Korea Curriculum and Evaluation Institute. He said that the appraisal board's disposition was cancelled.
Candidates have argued that the problem cannot be solved because there is an error that the number of individuals in the group is negative (-) when calculated according to the fingerprint of the problem.
On the other hand, the evaluator has shown that there is no problem in discriminating the level of academic achievement even if the conditions of the items are not perfect.
According to today's sentencing result, the correct answer announced by the evaluator will be canceled immediately.
Regarding today's ruling, the Evaluation Board also announced that it would not appeal against this litigation for error in questioning.
Life Science II students who did not receive their scores on the last day of the SAT score announcement date on the 10th will be able to check their scores from 6pm today.
