Yu Yuhan-ki, former head of Seongnam Urban Development Corporation, who was asked for an arrest warrant for taking money from the Daejang-dong development, was found dead.
Police said today (10th) that at around 7:40 a.m., Yoo was found dead near his apartment in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, where he lives.
Earlier, Yoo's family reported the disappearance to the police, saying that Yoo left a message suggesting an extreme choice and disappeared.
In August 2014, former general manager Yoo is accused of taking 200 million won from lawyer Nam Wook, owner of Cheonhwa-dongin No. 4, an affiliate of Hwacheon Daeyu, and accountant Jeong Young-hak, owner of Cheonhwa-dongin No. 5, for lobbying the Han River Basin Environment Agency.
