A party who smuggled methamphetamine into Korea in large quantities from abroad was caught by the police.

The Seoul Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit said that 12 people, including sales manager A, were arrested on charges of smuggling methamphetamine from Southeast Asia and circulating it in Southeast Asia, which could be administered by hundreds of thousands of people at the same time.

As a result of a police investigation, it was revealed that they smuggled 6.3 kg of methamphetamine and distributed it in Korea five times from March to November last year.

6.3 kg of methamphetamine is an amount that more than 210,000 people can administer at the same time, with a market value of 21 billion won, the police explained.

The police are also arresting and investigating eight people, including Mr. B, who purchased methamphetamine from them and took medication.

In addition, 4.3 kg of methamphetamine they were trying to distribute was confiscated.

The police arrested eight of the 20 arrested this time and are investigating additional crimes.
