A man in his thirties who was handed over to trial for attempting to rape and assault his ex-lover at home for three days and kill him with a blunt weapon, said at the first trial that he said, "I have no feelings of sorry for the victim."



Today (17th), the second criminal division of the Jeju District Court (Judge Chan-soo Jang) held the first trial of the case of 37-year-old A, who was charged with 7 charges including attempted murder, special confinement, and special threats.



Mr. A is angered at the notice of farewell from his ex-lover, Mr. B, and is accused of bringing Mr. B to his home in Jeju City on the 3rd of last month and imprisoning him.

The victim, Mr. B, was suffering from indiscriminate assault, and managed to escape on the morning of the 5th, after A briefly went to a convenience store.

As a result of this incident, Mr. B was seriously injured, including a broken rib and ruptured spleen.



Mr. A, who ran away immediately after the incident, took a thorough escape for three days, turning off his cell phone and using only cash, but was caught by the police while moving in a vehicle with an acquaintance around 5 pm on the 8th of last month.




Mr. A, who stood in the courtroom, replied, "I have nothing to say" to the judge's question, "Do you reflect?

The second trial is scheduled to be held on January 14th next year.
