Today (26th) news, 1 hour ahead. The typhoon is so scary now. It is expected that at about 4 PM today, one hour after passing the west of Jeju Island, it will be closely attached to Jindo at the far end of Jeollanam-do. We have prepared reporters in a place where we can best show the situation while keeping safety every 50km along the west coast where we are concerned that the damage will be large. Since the typhoon moves at a speed of about 25km per hour, it stands at intervals of 1 to 2 hours, so you can understand this. Then, we will look at the current situation from Jindo to the south. Let's go.

Reporter Kim Sang-min, I think I can hardly control my body right now, but please tell me the situation.

<Reporter>

Yes, I have been down here in Jindo since yesterday afternoon.

But yesterday, as well as today, a very strong wind is blowing here, incomparable.

When the headwind blows, you stand still and then step back and you can't open your eyes properly, but you can feel that you are in the area of the typhoon.

The rain and wind began in earnest from around 5:30 am today.

The fishermen, surprised by the unexpected strong wind, came out from dawn to organize their fishing gear, and secure the boat again.

From daytime today, the intensity of rain and wind continues to rise to the point that street banners are torn.

Since'Bolaben' in 2012, Jindo has not suffered much damage from typhoons in recent years, but in preparation for an emergency, the tensions are not slowing down.

Jindo-gun is currently controlling the coastal road between Hoedong and Uishin Chopyeong in Gogun, as waves may fall over it.

In addition, there is a possibility that additional control will be carried out, with the current maximum wind speed approaching the control standard of Jindo Bridge, 25m/sec.

still that much, but I'm really worried about the next one or two hours.

<Reporter> The

Meteorological Administration predicted that a typhoon will come closest to Jindo in about an hour from now.

The nearest point, that is, the point where the typhoon comes in is 150km west of Jindo, and the strength of the wind coming here is at the level of a'very river'.

From now on, the rain and wind has reached a very peak, and this is the stage, but you can see it like this.
