Here at Incheon Port, the wind is getting stronger from the afternoon.

Raindrops started to fall a little while ago.

As you can see behind me, hundreds of fishing boats in the port are tightly tied together to avoid typhoons.

Six routes to the coast, including Baengnyeongdo and Yeonpyeongdo, were suspended from yesterday (25th) afternoon, and passenger ships are also being damaged by the inner port.

The 8th typhoon'Babi', which is traveling north along the west coast, is expected to be closest to Incheon around 4 am tomorrow.

Although the typhoon course has moved slightly to the west than expected, Incheon is still included in the risk group.

If you are in the direct influence area, it is predicted that there will be a lot of rain and wind with a central wind speed of 40m per second, so special attention is required.

Incheon, people were damaged by a typhoon last year. How are you preparing for this typhoon?

<Reporter> The

city of Incheon has issued an emergency level 3, which is the highest level of response at 1 o'clock today, and is ready to go.

In particular, in Incheon, during the typhoon'Ringling' in September last year, a wall collapsed, killing one person and damaging more than 30 buildings, resulting in property damage of over 10 billion won.

It is a tense atmosphere as a strong typhoon approaches again after a year.

In preparation for strong winds, the city of Incheon is urgently inspecting 92 large construction sites and 190 tower cranes, and is controlling access to vulnerable areas such as landslide areas and coastal areas.

In addition, if the wind blows more than 25m/sec, the traffic of Yeongjong Bridge and Incheon Bridge heading to Incheon International Airport will be completely stopped.

There was also an emergency in the coastal island village, so be careful not to damage it overnight.
