Bundesliga

Who will become German Champion? Does the Bundesliga get another champion for the first time after six years than Bayern? Shine so far. Then the Munich found out of their crisis, and at least after the strong appearance in Hoffenheim on Friday probably thought some: they are still to come. Especially since league leaders Dortmund in Leipzig had a serious chunk in front of him. In the short term, superstar Marco Reus also dropped out.

Result: We do not know who will become a champion. That this Dortmund team but completely collapses, it indicates nothing. The BVB won at RB Leipzig 1: 0 (1: 0). The goal was scored by Axel Witsel (19th minute).

The first half: Had two halves. The first dominated BVB; that worked like an announcement to Leipzig, oh well, to the Bayern: We just keep on going as in the first round. Witsel's final was still harmless (7), Maximilian Philipp missed the 1: 0 (13), then met Witsel to the lead. In these 19 minutes Dortmund gave off four of his five shots of the first half. Then Leipzig became stronger and pushed the guests into their penalty area. Clear chances but rarely, the best forgave Konrad Laimer, whose shot was blocked (34.).

Marco Reus

Reus out: With 18 goals, Reus was the most effective player of the first round, in a "kicker" survey colleagues chose him the best Bundesliga professional. Goals and assists are one thing. But Reus is also the key player for the Dortmund offensive without her: passes into the depths usually end up with him, so that he forwards them, often with a brilliant contact.

Lucky guy of the game: Witsel was Dortmund's king transfer in summer, the Belgian distributes balls in midfield and assures attacks. What he does less often: score goals. Exception: games against Leipzig. He had hit BVB 4-1 in the first half of the season, but this time he scored the only goal and it was a great sight. After a corner kick, Lukasz Piszczek extended the ball to Witsel's feet. He got out, hit the ball perfectly with the full tension and balanced it on the lower edge of the crossbar, from where he jumped into the goal. We would like to congratulate not only Witsel, but also fellow players Philip, who was just able to pull the skull out of the trajectory.

Yussuf Poulsen (l.), Roman Bürki

The second half: wiggte back and forth. Dortmund tried to counter RB, which only succeeded in Reus' absence a few times. Jadon Sancho missed the free-standing moment to finish (52.), shortly after Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulácsi deflected a Philipp shot just from (53), and in the 90th minute failed - of course - substitute Paco Alcácer on the crossbar , Dangerous but was altogether RB. Only Leipzig striker had to do with one that seemed insurmountable.

Swiss Bank: Not too long ago, Roman Bürki was considered a weak point of the Dortmund team. Today an absurd idea. The Swiss Leipziger graduated five times, highlight: the defense against the freestanding Marcel Sabitzer (74.). With an average Bundesliga team, BVB would not have won this match.

45 - The @BVB had only in the 2010/11 championship season after 18 games more points in the account (46) than current (45). #RBLBVB pic.twitter.com/3kHFYopTMO

And now? Bayern are likely to play a much better return than first round, they have hinted in Hoffenheim. Will Dortmund keep up? At least BVB has taken one of the more difficult hurdles on the way to the title.
