Pulisic before leaving in winter?

Borussia Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc is questioned at regular intervals about the future of Christian Pulisic and so far was the appropriate answer always: The talented Americans must remain until the summer of 2019. Pulisics contract runs until 2020, the 20-year-old striker does not seem interested in an extension.

Pulisic wants to switch to the Premier League, as the first interest applies to Chelsea. As reported by the newspaper "Evening Standard", the team of coach Maurizio Sarri Pulisic wants to commit already this winter. This is likely to have a very pragmatic reason, because Chelsea is threatened with a transfer ban by Fifa for violations of youth player obligations. If the squad of blues to be strengthened, this is probably only this winter.

BVB is thus in a good negotiating position. Chelsea should not be ready to meet the alleged Borussia estimated transfer claim in the amount of 79 million euros. According to "Ruhr-Nachrichten", a first offer is said to have already been made. Pulisic is currently one of the few players to act as Bundesliga leader under normal form. (Krä / sid)

Hasenhüttl at Southampton in conversation

The troubled FC Southampton has dismissed team manager Mark Hughes, former Bundesliga pro Bayern Munich, with immediate effect. The 55-year-old Welsh had replaced the Argentine Mauricio Pellegrino in March. As a possible successor, the former Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhüttl is traded in British media. The "Bild" newspaper reported that the Austrian was a top candidate for the Saints.

Southampton lost 2-0 to Manchester United on Matchday 1 of the Premier League and missed their second win of the season. The club is on the 18th place after 14 Matchday and is relegation endangered. Hasenhüttl is a big supporter of the English league, but the perspective of Southampton in the dominated by six major clubs Premier League speaks rather against a change. (Krä / sid)

Matthew sees Werner at Bayern

Bayern wants to make up for the missed change in the squad this summer. For a lot of money to be spent, rumored to be up to 200 million. For the former Munich Lothar Matthäus it is clear who would have to be one of Bayern's biggest transfer goals: Timo Werner von RB Leipzig. "Timo would fit perfectly with Bayern Munich," said Matthäus on Sky.

Matthew believes that the record champion has already tried to attack the attacker, "everything else would be very negligent and would mean that they have not done their homework in Munich again," said Matthew. Werner's contract in Leipzig runs until 2020.
