The regular season is over, now the playoffs have started in the NFL. And the winners of the first two games are called the Dallas Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts. Indianapolis won with the Houston Texans in the AFC wild card game sovereign 21: 7 by. In the NFC's wildcard game, Dallas won at home against the Seattle Seahawks 24:22. The most spectacular scene of the game was ultimately the decisive one.

Two minutes before the end of the fourth quarter, the cowboys had the ball 17 yards from the end zone. Dak Prescott himself kicked off the ball and headed for the end zone, but Seattle's Tedric Thomson threw himself into the legs of the Dallas quarterback. Prescott rolled over and landed inches from the end zone without losing the ball. The subsequent move completed the 25-year-old himself by wearing the ball in the end zone: touchdown. And after the extra point it was 24:14 for the cowboys.

Less than a minute later, it managed to Seattle, as second in the table drafted by a wild card into the playoffs, in the end zone. The Seahawks played the additional attempt and got so two more points (two-point conversion). After that, the cowboys were no longer in danger and so the five-time Superbowl champion secured a place in the quarter-finals.

Previously, it took a long time for one of the offensives to overcome the defense of the opponent decisively. Only shortly before the end of the second quarter succeeded Dallas the first touchdown of the game - with subsequent successful additional attempt to 10: 8. Seattle took a 14-10 lead with their own first touchdown and a subsequent two-point conversion, but then Dallas turned the game - also thanks to the spectacular stakes of quarterback Prescott.

In the quarter-finals, the Cowboys fight this weekend against either the New Orleans Saints or the Los Angeles Rams for their first appearance in the playoff semi-final since 1995.

The Indianapolis Colts, as Seattle pulled through a wildcard into the playoffs, had in the first round much less problems than Dallas. Already at break it was against the Houston Texans by three Tochdowns 21: 0. The Texans reduced only in the fourth quarter to 21: 7, but had no chance to move into the quarter-finals. There the Colts meet the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday. (Read here an analysis of the athletic starting position of the Colts)
