Jürgen Klopp has accepted a fine of the equivalent of around 9000 euros for his jubilee run after the last-minute winner in the Merseyside derby. This is reported by the BBC and the newspaper "Mirror".

The English FA FA had previously determined against the team manager of Liverpool for unsporting behavior. Klopp even threatened a lock. Now the 51-year-old received from the FA in addition to the fine only a warning.

Klopp had stormed over the half-field in the sixth minute of injury time after the Reds' 1-0 win against city rivals FC Everton on Sunday and had celebrated with the players.

"If the goal had fallen for us, I might have done the same thing"

Former England international Danny Mills had criticized Klopp: "It's absolutely shocking what Klopp is doing - if other managers do such a thing, they'll get serious problems," he told the BBC: "But Klopp is a media lover, everyone likes him and it seems he can not go wrong. "

Everton team manager Marco Silva, however, did not consider Klopp's jubilant rejoicing as disrespectful: "If the goal had been for us, I might have done the same." The Portuguese, however, disagreed with Klopp's claim that he had apologized to Silva immediately after play.

However, Klopp had said at the subsequent press conference: "I would like to apologize to Marco Silva, I did not want to run to the pitch, that was really not the plan, but such a thing happened, this derby was different than in recent years."

Already in the Bundesliga Klopp had shown as a coach of Borussia Dortmund and FSV Mainz 05 repeatedly exuberant jubilee.
